Volunteers are an important asset to the Renton Police Department with over 30 community members working in almost every division.
In 1981, the first volunteers started performing vacation house checks, an important crime prevention program that is still active today.
As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of service the department provides to the community. It is important to be aware that volunteers represent the department and the city to our community.
