Renton Responds
Renton Responds is the city's quick and easy way for residents to report non-emergency services requests and quality-of-life issues.
For emergencies, dial 911.
Requests can be submitted either from this page or by downloading and installing the Renton Responds app for Apple or Android devices.
The app is available from the Apple Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android).
Using Renton Responds
Here's a short video on how to use the Renton Responds app.
App Submission
On-site use of the app allows automatic geo-location and the ability to upload a photo.
A request can be submitted by either creating an account, which allows the city to keep you informed on the status, or anonymously.
Online Submission
Requests can be submitted from the form above. Simply click the appropriate category for your request and follow the instructions. If the map view of existing requests is showing, click the three circles on the right side of the Renton Responds header to access the new request reporting window. Click the three circles again to toggle between submitting a new request, accessing your requests (account creation required), and the map view of existing requests.
Requests are monitored during normal city business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A request can be submitted by either creating an account, which allows the city to keep you informed on the status, or anonymously.
After Submission
When submitted, the service request directly goes to the appropriate city division for review and response. When submitting a request, you also have the option to create an account to receive updates and track status.
The time to resolution may vary depending on the type of request and request volume. By proceeding with this program, you acknowledge that the time to resolve your request is not guaranteed. If you do not agree, do not submit a request.
NEW - Renton Responds Interactive Dashboard
The Renton Responds Interactive Dashboard provides our community members with an easy and transparent way to see information and metrics on all requests submitted. This includes the ability to search for and filter requests by date or date ranges, request categories, specific locations or by neighborhood, view request status (open; in progress; closed), etc.
