Dates announced for 2024 Renton River Days announced; Call for festival participants

City celebrates the annual Renton River Days Festival July 26-28, 2024; Call for sponsors, parade floats, community booths open.

RENTON, WA (APRIL 17, 2024) – Renton River Days is a beloved community-inspired festival that unites the diverse and ever-growing residents of Renton. Last year's event attracted over 25,000+ attendees, and the city is happy to announce that this year's festival will take place on July 26, 27, and 28.

Celebrate the festival at various locations throughout Renton, including the Renton Community Center, Maplewood Golf Course, Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, Liberty Park, Cedar River Park, and the Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center. As the festival nears, detailed information on festival hours, activity schedules, and entertainment performances will be posted on the city's website.

 The city is seeking active participation from the community through several opportunities to get involved in the festival:

BECOME A SPONSOR

The city takes pride in community-building events like Renton River Days. These traditions are made possible through sponsorship investments from dedicated corporate partners and local businesses. To inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please email [email protected].

HOST A COMMUNITY BOOTH

Apply to host a community booth at Liberty Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28. Community booths facilitate engagement, allowing nonprofits to showcase their mission to the public. The application deadline is June 28.

PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE

Join the Renton River Days Parade on Saturday, July 27. Be creative, promote a business or social group, and entertain friends and neighbors! The registration deadline is July 12, and there is a $25 fee upon acceptance. This year’s parade theme is "Where Community Grows."

CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUMMER BAZAAR ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW

Prepare hand-crafted goodies for sale at the Summer Bazaar Arts & Crafts Show at the Renton Community Center on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28. Staff reviews applications monthly until the event is full.

Renton River Days is an unforgettable celebration of our community's spirit, bringing all residents together, and the city is excited to celebrate with Renton this year.
