Sunset Park Grand Opening

Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sunset Park SignWHAT: Grand opening of Sunset Neighborhood Park Phase I and celebration of Renton Highlands Library. Sunset Park has received funding from Federal agencies, Washington State Legislature, and King County. Construction on Phase II of the park will begin in 2019.

Pre-dedication entertainment will be provided by the Campbell Hill Elementary School Choir starting at 10:30 a.m.

After the ceremony, the Grupo Cultural Oaxaqueño dance group will perform accompanied by El Cuarteto Gozona. They will be followed by Ian Dobson’s Steel Drum Party.

Light refreshments will be served in the Library.
