Thomas Teasdale Park is a 10-acre neighborhood park and is named after a former park board member.

It offers a variety of recreational opportunities for children and adults. The shelter is surrounded by tall evergreen trees, which provide shade during sunny summer days. A paved trail connects the picnic shelter to the renovated play structure and basketball court.

Basketball Court Replacement

The Thomas Teasdale Park basketball court replacement project was completed at the end of July 2021. The replacement of the basketball court was identified by the Citizens Advisory Committee in 2018 to maintain existing park facilities and included in the 2019 Parks Bond. Road Construction Northwest, Inc. was selected as the contractor for the project.

The work included removing the existing asphalt basketball court and goal posts, new sub-grading, construction of a new asphalt court with sport court surfacing and basketball posts and goals, and a new concrete mow strip around the perimeter of the basketball court.
