Overview

The Neighborhood Project Matching Grant is designed to bring neighbors together, promote positive communication between residents and City government, build the organizational capacity of recognized neighborhoods, and encourage a physical improvement that encompasses and benefits a larger area of a neighborhood. Renton neighborhoods that are a part of the City of Renton Neighborhood Program are eligible to receive funding from the City of Renton Neighborhood Program for neighborhood projects. To receive funding, neighborhood organizations need to complete and submit an application that demonstrates their ability to organize and manage a neighborhood project. Projects suitable to receive funding must cost no more than $5,000.

After your grant application has been approved, you will need to create a workbook with tabs to create an estimated expenditure and log volunteer hours. This is considered a working document with the understanding that your project estimates can change prior to the start of the project.
