Design
Council awarded the professional services contract to RH2 Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $216,343 for design and services during bidding at its regularly scheduled meeting on July 19, 2021. Under this agreement, the consultant will perform the following:

Update the hydraulic calculations to verify pumping capacity to meet projected water demand in West Hill operational area in 2029 and 2039.

Provide technical support for required project permitting.

Prepare for final project construction plans, cost estimates, and specifications.

Assist with response to bidders’ inquiries during bidding period.
Construction
Bids for project construction were received and opened on March 7, 2023. A total of three bids were submitted. Gary Harper Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $2,669,704.80.

Project construction is anticipated to begin in fall 2023 and will be completed in fall 2024.
