How much RECYCLING capacity should properties have?

Every unit should have at least Recycling carts0.15 cubic yards of recycling capacity per week (1 cubic yard = approximately 2 large blue carts). To determine a property's recycling needs, use the following formula:


# of units x 0.15 = # of recommended cubic yards per week

For example, apartment buildings with 80 units should have at least 12 cubic yards of recycling capacity, or 6 carts. Apartment and condo residents have unlimited recycling, so there is no charge to increase capacity.
