The Renton Police Department cooperates with CrimeReports.com, to make a crime mapping tool available to the public.
The search parameters may be city-wide, by patrol district, neighborhood, date range, and crime type.
The tool is used to enhance the public’s knowledge about crime activity. The police department also hopes to enhance partnerships with the community and asks the public to provide the department with any information that would assist in solving crimes.
