RenTeens is a youth advisory council who every year has selected and executed a project of their choice
pertaining to Renton History. Projects over the past four years include podcasts, blogs,
and exhibits.
RenTeens meet every other week to work on their selected project and to learn about what’s going on at the museum. They provide insight into how museum staff and volunteers can better connect with the Renton area’s young people.
Not only is it a fun way for students to meet students from different schools, it looks good on college resumes. Additionally, it provides great leadership opportunities and fulfills community service hours.
Interested teens should contact the Public Engagement Coordinator for more information about the program.
