2021 Open Swim Sessions and Rates

Swim Sessions

Summer of 2021 Henry Moses Aquatic Center will offer three Open Swim Sessions.

  • Session I: 12-2 p.m., Saturday, and Sunday

  • Session II: 2:45-4:45 p.m., Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

  • Session III: 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Open Swim Session Rates

  • Ages 1-4 years old: $4.50

  • Ages 5+ years: $8.50

Water Walking and Lap Swim Sessions and Rates

Lap swims offer an opportunity for excellent zero-impact exercise as you  swim the length of our 25-yard heated outdoor lap pool. Swimmers must be comfortable swimming in deep water and be able to complete a full length before stopping. 

Water Walking is a great self-guided therapy that uses mild river current and resistance to maximize your low impact exercise regimen. Aqua shoes recommended.

Half-Pint Splash-N-Play

Your half-pint will be ecstatic in this unstructured playtime designed for parents and tots. The play structure area will be a sea of giggles and grins as you experience this wonderful opportunity to enjoy exclusive use of the designated shallow water area. Perfect for ages 6 months to 5 years old.

National Waterpark Day, July 29

Splish-splash your way through the hottest time of the year. Celebrate National Waterpark Day with us by learning valuable water safety tips along with other fun activities provided.

Pooch Plunge

Bring your dog to the Henry Moses Aquatics Center for the Pooch Plunge! Rain or shine, your doggos will get to frolic in the lap and wave pool and float in the lazy river. Registration is available here

Rentals, Party Tents and Group Reservations

Due to the uncertainty of the Safe Start Washington Phased Reopening, in addition to limited staff and operating hours, private pool rentals, party tent and group reservations including day camps are not available for summer 2021.


COVID-19 Operations and Safety Plan

Admission Reservation and Payments: All water park general admission, programs, and special events will be processed online via the Recreation and Neighborhoods registration website.

Health Screening: All employees and guests will be required to take a screening before entering the facility each day. If you feel sick or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home.

Lockers and showers: Use of indoor showers and lockers is  prohibited. Outdoor lockers and shower(s) are available.

Limited park occupancy: Guest occupancy will be limited within the aquatic center in accordance to Washington State’s Roadmap to Recovery Phased Reopening Plan.

Social Distancing: Guests will be asked to maintain 6 feet social distancing and limit interaction with others outside of their party. Deck layout will be modified to ensure appropriate distance in walkways and lounge areas. Visual cues are provided to assist guests in social distancing and best safety practices. Disinfecting and Cleaning: Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the waterpark. Staff will be continually disinfecting and cleaning high-touched surfaces and areas including inner tubes, and other aquatic center amenities.

Face Coverings: Guests entering the water park must wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth when not engaging in water activities. Due to safety constraints, face coverings are not permitted to be worn in the water or on the slides.

Aquatic Center Rules and Regulations

  • Guests 12 years of age and younger must be supervised by someone 18 years of age or older.

  • Everyone who enters the water park must pay the appropriate fee.

  • City of Renton Park Rules and Regulations apply to the Henry Moses Aquatic Center.

  • The City of Renton is not responsible for personal items.

  • Small coolers are allowed in the facility; however, glass containers, lawn chairs, beach umbrellas, wagons, and barbeques are not allowed.

  • Water toys such as noodles, water wings, balls, air mattresses, and inner tubes are not allowed. U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets are the only devices permitted.

  • Pets are not allowed.

  • Food or drink is not allowed within five feet (5') of the water.

  • Alcohol and tobacco are not allowed.

  • When thunder and/or lightening occur, the water will be cleared for safety.

  • Monitoring children is the responsibility of the supervising adult, regardless of the presence of lifeguards.

  • Guests must be 48-inches tall to ride the slides.

  • Guests less than 48-inches tall may ride the lazy river with an adult.

  • Guests who are not able to demonstrate their ability to swim the crawl stroke 75-feet will not be allowed in water over their shoulders.

  • Guests with open sores, infections, or communicable diseases are not allowed in the water.

  • Guests must shower before entering the pool.

  • Proper swimwear is required. Males must wear swimsuits with drawstrings, while females must wear one or two-piece suits. Suits with metal buttons, snaps, or rivets will not be allowed on the slides. T-shirts may be worn in addition to proper swimwear.

  • Guests under three years of age must always wear approved swim diapers while in the facility.

  • Diapers must be changed in the locker room.

  • All guests using the lazy river must be in a tube unless an adult is assisting a child.

  • Guests must always obey lifeguards. Refusal to do so may result in expulsion from the facility without refund.
