Renton Regional Fire Authority firefighters share some easy-to-follow fireworks safety tips designed to keep your 4th of July safe.

Since the city banned fireworks in 2005, our first responders have seen a significant decrease in fire and aid calls. Violators are subjected to confiscation of their fireworks and may receive a ticket or fine. Fines range from $100 to $500.
