Fire Hydrant Art The South Renton neighborhood, including downtown, has been adding curb appeal in some unexpected places through the Fire Hydrant Art Program. Over the years, community artists have “adopted” fire hydrants and transformed these everyday objects into colorful, imaginative works of public art that surprise and delight passersby.
