Traffic Impacts

1. Rainier Ave S

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 24 hours a day. Intermittent lane closure on Rainier Ave S between S 2nd St and Airport Way for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Joe Nerlfi, 425-757-9657.

2. Sunset Lane NE

On-going Street Closure (City of Renton Resolution No. 4446). FULL STREET CLOSURE on Sunset Lane NE between NE 10th Street and Harrington Place NE in support the Solera Development Project (LUA20-000305). Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco, 425-282-2373.

3. NE 12th Street

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Intermittent lane closure on NE 12th St and Jefferson Ave NE for utility installation. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco, 425-282-2373.

4. Kirkland Ave NE

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Road closure on Kirkland Ave NE between NE Sunset Blvd and NE 12th St for utility installation. Detour route will be provided. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco, 425-282-2373.

5. NE Sunset Blvd

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Intermittent lane closure on NE Sunset Blvd between Edmonds Ave NE and Kirkland Ave NE for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco, 425-282-2373. 

6. Williams Ave S (S 2nd and S 3rd)

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Southbound travel and parking lane closures on Williams Ave S between S 2nd and S 3rd Streets for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Justin Johnson, 425-902-7102.

7. N 10th Pl

Tuesday, April 16, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Streets Maintenance crews will perform an emergency concrete pour at N 10th Pl between Park Ave N and Garden Ave N heading west bound. This will be in the metro bus stop. The travel lanes will not be affected.

8. Burnett Ave S

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Northbound lane closure on Burnett Ave S between S 5th St and S 4th St for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Rob Blackburn, 206-379-1489.

• Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 from SR 520 (milepost 13.35) to I-90 (milepost 10.85) will be closed overnight, 9 p.m. Sunday, April 14 – 5 a.m. Monday, April 15

• Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 and eastbound I-90 from Southeast Eighth Street to the I-90 onramp will be closed overnight, 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14 – 5 a.m. Monday, April 15.

• Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 from milepost 15.85 to milepost 11.8 will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. Sunday, April 14 – 5 a.m. Monday, April 15, 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 – 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 17 and 9 p.m. Thursday, April 18 – 5 a.m. Friday, April 19.

• The left HOV lane of southbound I-405 from Talbot Road South (milepost 3) to SR 181 (milepost 1) will be closed nightly, 10:15 p.m. Monday, April 15 – 5 a.m. Friday, April 19.

• The right shoulder of northbound I-405 at milepost 25.61 will be closed nightly, 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 15 – 4:30 a.m. Friday, April 19.

• Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 from SR 167 (milepost 2.20) to Sunset Boulevard Northeast (milepost 5.5) will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. Monday, April 15 – 4:30 a.m. Friday, April 19.

• Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 from the northbound I-5 off-ramp (milepost 0.48) to the SR 169 offramp (milepost 3.66) will be closed nightly, 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 15 – 4 a.m. Friday, April 19.

• Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 from Northeast 30th Street (milepost 7.25) to 112th Avenue Southeast (milepost 10) will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. Monday, April 15 – 4:30 a.m. Friday, April 19.

• The left lane of northbound I-405 from milepost 7.9 to milepost 9.3 will be closed overnight, 9:15 p.m. Monday, April 15 – 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 16.
