Free Birdhouse Kits: Project Cuckoo

To celebrate our last week of Campin’ Out, the City of Renton's Recreation & Neighborhoods Division is inviting you to take part in a week dedicated to the arts!

In partnership with the Renton Municipal Arts Commission, we have purchased 1,000 do-it-yourself birdhouse kits to be distributed to families throughout Renton. Each kit will contain the materials needed to make a birdhouse. As of July 28, all kits have been distributed.

Project Cuckoo is a community based art project designed to capture the stories, sentiment, and emotions during this unique time. Residents can upload a photo of their own birdhouse on here on SurveyMonkey. Your submissions will be transformed into a virtual art gallery for everyone to enjoy!
