Projects are weather permitting and unless otherwise noted streets always remain open.

South 14th Street

Monday-Friday

Road Closure on South 14th Street between Smithers Avenue S through Davis Avenue S for utility construction. Approved traffic control plans have been issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Patrick DeCaro, 425-207-6013.

Renton Avenue South (Earlington Hill)
Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Intermittent lane closures at S 132nd Street for storm water utility work.  Approved traffic control plans have been issued for all work and will be followed. Questions about this work can be directed to Michelle Faltaous, 425-430-7301 or Todd Freih, 206-999-1832.

Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Intermittent lane closures at and on S 132nd Street for utility work.  Approved traffic control plans have been issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Patrick DeCaro, 425-207-6013.

Talbot Road South
Monday-Friday,  8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Single lane closures on Talbot Road South in the vicinity of Valley Medical Hospital related to the construction of the new Medical Office Building.  Questions may be directed to Tom Main, 206-999-1833.

East Valley Road
Monday-Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Single lane closure on East Valley Road between SW 19th Street and Taylor Avenue SW for I-405 Direct Connector Project.  One lane of East Valley Road will remain open, with flaggers directing traffic through the work site. Questions may be directed to Justin Johnson, 425-430-7291. 

King County Eastside Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation project

Logan Avenue N
Current through January 1, 2020

Potential intermittent lane closures along Logan Avenue N between N 6th Street and near Garden Avenue N in support of the King County Eastside Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation project.  A traffic control plan is being reviewed by City Staff and will be approved prior to any lane closures. Burnett Avenue N
Current through January 1, 2020

Full Road Closure on Burnett Avenue N between N 6th Street and approximately 100 feet south of N 6th Street. Road closure is in support of the King County Eastside Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation project. Both the City of Renton and King County’s Wastewater Division have reached out to property owners along the approved detour route and to affect parties providing advanced notification of the proposed road closure and detour route.  In addition, notification was provided in the Renton Reporter and signage will be provided in the field prior to roadway closure.  Resolution 4378 has been approved by City Council for the roadway closure of Burnett Avenue N.  An approved detour route have been issued for the roadway closure and will be followed.  Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco, 425-282-2373 or Rohini Nair, 425-430-7298.
