Coaches Corner

The success of the Youth Basketball Program depends on volunteers. The application process will be available early September.

All coaches must submit a volunteer application by October 15, 2018, and be approved by the city's Human Resources/Risk Management Department.

Once approved, volunteers will be selected and assigned to teams by the recreation coordinator. Volunteers will only be assigned to coach teams in which their child is associated with unless otherwise specified.  All approved volunteers must attend a mandatory volunteer coaches meeting held mid-November and attend at least one of the Coaches Training's offered by the city. For all the upcoming information and meeting dates, you can access the Basketball Timeline.

Gym Closures

The gym closure list is updated daily when necessary. Schools can cancel on a moment's notice, so please check this schedule prior to attending a practice.
