2021 Summer Youth Baseball Leagues

The City of Renton Summer Youth Baseball program is for boys and girls ages 5-8.
We will be offering T-Ball & Coach Pitch this summer. 

All leagues are designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball while having fun. Players of all abilities are encouraged to participate.

  • Participants will practice one night a week at Renton Parks for one hour.
  • Games for all leagues will be played on Thursday nights beginning July 15th and running through August 19th.
  • All practices and games are played during the week, leaving weekends free.
Teams will be formed and participants will be notified of Team Placement after June 19th. If you have not heard from the city by June 26, please call the community center for team information 425-430-6700.

Inclement Weather Line

  • 425-430-6719
  • Updated at 4 p.m. on weekdays for game cancellations.
  • Practice cancellations are up to the coaches. Practices are not mandatory.

T-Ball (ages 5-6)

For boys and girls ages 5-6. Participant's age as of June 29, 2021. Each team will practice for one hour a week beginning mid-June and run through early August. Teams will continue to practice one night a week once games begin.

Machine Pitch (ages 9-10)

Machine Pitch will not be held in Summer 2021.

MLB Skills Competition

Home Run Derby

The Home Run Derby, is the chance for you to show off your hitting skills. Knock it out of the park in this FREE competition showcasing your baseball and softball skills! Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions (11-12, 13-14) and have the chance to advance to T-Mobile Park or even the National Finals during MLB All-Star Week!

Due to social distancing requirements, participants must pre-register online for a competition time slot. Players and staff must wear a mask at ALL TIMES.
