Youth Athletics is dedicated to:

  1. Providing enjoyable recreation programs for children, regardless of athletic ability
  2. Encouraging children to have fun, learn new skills, and feel good about participating in youth sports
  3. Developing self-esteem and good sportsmanship through meaningful and fair sports competition
  4. Providing quality coaches, facilities, and clearly defined standards


UK Petite Ages 3-5 and UK Elite IDP Programs Ages 6-9

UK Petite soccer provides a games base approach to teach the FUNdamentals of soccer in a high energy, interactive learning environment.  Each program runs for 6 weeks, for one hour.  Each participant will receive a t-shirts.  For a complete list of programs offered, and to register, please visit

Tennis Lessons - Highlands Community Center

Join us indoors this fall and winter. Participants will be introduced to the QuickStart formula for tennis. This will allow participants to rally by the end of the first lesson. Participants will learn the basics: forehand, backhand, serving and scoring! Lessons are available for boys and girls ages 5-12 years old. Cross Country 

Sounds of crunchy leaves and cool crisp air is a runner’s signal for Cross Country season. Come learn the basics of running long distance. We will teach kids about the importance of warm ups, cool downs, stretching and pacing. Participants will have the option of running 800m to 3000m at invitational meet(s) held at Bellevue, Issaquah, Maple Valley & Snoqualmie. Register online with PerfectMind!

Co-Ed Volleyball League

The City of Renton would like to introduce our New Youth League, Co-Ed Volleyball! This sport improves jumping, timing and communications skills. Come learn to hit an ace with us this Fall as we encourage a new passion for this lifelong sport for both girls and boys. Practice Saturday mornings. Games Thursday evenings.

Pre-Season Basketball

Do you have dreams of playing professional basketball? You’ll have to master the fundamentals first! Join us this fall to learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting and being a great teammate. From beginners to seasoned players. Everyone will develop new skills and positive attitudes before the winter basketball season! Sign up early as space is limited.
