Take a Stand Against Cyberbullying

Dr. Michelle BennettJoin the Renton History Museum and Dr. Michelle Bennett for a workshop for parents and educators on the topic of cyberbullying. Dr. Bennett currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Sammamish. Throughout this event, Dr. Bennett will explain what cyberbullying is and the effect it can have on victims- and participants will learn tools to recognize and evaluate instances of cyberbullying.

 

La Causa by Living Voices

La CausaIn the 1960s a movement changed the lives of Latin American farm workers who fought for civil rights and battled racism and indecent working conditions. Experience this chapter of American history through the eyes of a young woman on the front lines. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

 

Halloween Craft Party

Halloween craftsPrepare for Halloween by joining us for a Halloween Craft Party! We'll be making some spooky crafts to help you celebrate the season. Art supplies will e provided, limited supplies available.
