Renton Field Operator Guide for Curfew Hours

Winter: October to April

Weekdays

  • Engine runs permitted
    • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Low power permitted
    • 5 to 6 p.m.
  • All other runs must be cleared through general supervisor

Sundays

  • All runs must be cleared through general supervisor.
    • 12 to 3 p.m. only

Summer: May to September

Weekdays

  • Engine runs permitted
    • 8 to 11:30 a.m.
    • 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  • Low power permitted
    • 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • 5 to 6 p.m.
  • All other runs must be cleared through general supervisor

Saturdays

  • All runs permitted
    • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • All other runs must be cleared through general supervisory

When engine runs are required to be done outside these limits, please contact:

  • Boeing Company switchboard operator 206-655-2121; and
  • Renton Airport 425-430-7471

The Renton Pre-Flight Office is to be informed by Renton School District of any scheduled activity in Renton Memorial Stadium or Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center. Engine operations at Renton Airport will be curtailed during such activities if practicable.
