Renton Police Youth Academy
The Youth Academy is a collaborative effort between the Renton Police Department, King County Sheriff's Office, Newcastle Police Department, and the DEA. This four-day program introduces middle schoolers to careers in public safety through hands-on experiences, interactive activities, and real-world simulations.
Participants will explore law enforcement, firefighting, and emergency response while developing leadership skills, teamwork, and self-confidence. They’ll also have the unique opportunity to connect with public safety professionals and gain a deeper appreciation for those who serve.
