Neighborhood Program

Renton's Neighborhood Program is committed to providing engagement and experiences that best address the unique needs of Renton’s increasingly diverse community and residents. By focusing our efforts on sustainable initiatives designed to improve physical and social livability, we can improve the quality-of-life standards throughout the community. Renton's Neighborhood Program is designed to support neighborhoods and their residents navigate city government.

Through community collaboration and a dedicated Neighborhood Grant budget, the City of Renton is dedicated to creating experiences that:

• Makes Renton a great place to live, work, and play
• Creates access to health and recreation opportunities
• Celebrates our community through unique educational, cultural, and recreation-based programming that connect all walks of life
• Offers residents and neighborhood organizations an opportunity to be a part of and influence Recreation and Neighborhoods' decision-making processes
• Creates opportunities to improve neighborhood communities’ physical and social well-being
