Crime Mapping

The Renton Police Department partners with CityProtect to provide a picture of crime affecting the different neighborhoods in the city. For the best experience, use Chrome, as CityProtect does not load properly in Internet Explorer. Once on CityProtect:

  • Use the search function to locate the City of Renton Agency page.
  • To customize the information, click the "Incidents" button, then "Filters" in the upper left corner.
  • Select your desired date range, specific days of the week, time range and types of incidents.
  • Click "See Results".
  • The crime map will load with incidents related to your search.
  • Zoom in on the dots until icons appear. 
  • View detailed information about incidents by clicking on specific symbols on the map or in the left-hand column.
  • Users can also register to receive notifications about incident updates.
