APPLICATIONS: The City of Renton Employment Application can be filled out online but must be printed, signed and dated; then delivered by mail or in person to the Human Resources Department. The City of Renton will accept Employment Applications for advertised vacancies only. Please read the detailed job announcement by clicking on the job title to learn what materials are required. If you are interested in applying for more than one position, you must fill out a separate Employment Application for each position
RESUMES: Resumes are not considered applications for employment. Resumes may be attached to the City of Renton application and are required in some cases. See the job announcement for specific information.
VETERAN'S PREFERENCE: If claiming Veteran's Preference, please complete a copy of page four of form DD-214 and attach along with a signed Veteran's Preference Form with the City of Renton Employment Application. In accordance with RCW 41.04, veterans who meet criteria for veteran's preference and receive passing scores on competitive employment examinations have an extra five to 10 percent added to their final weighted score only when a ranked eligibility list is established.

Bonus: Sign-on bonus of $5,000
