Portion of North Eighth Street to close April 28 for railroad crossing repair

 

WHAT: The City of Renton Public Works Department will close a portion of North Eighth Street between Houser Way North and Garden Avenue North in order for the city and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad to repair the railroad crossing.

WHEN: Friday, April 28, 2017, at 6 a.m. The closure is expected to last a minimum of 12 hours. The work is not weather-dependent.

WHY: Burlington Northern Santa Fe is installing new railroad grade crossing.
