City of Renton Arterial Traffic Impacts

Week of April 3, 2017

Note:   All projects are weather permitting and unless otherwise noted streets will always remain open.  Please note Harrington Avenue NE, Sunset Lane NE and Glennwood Avenue NE will be closed until approximately July 31, 2017.

South 2nd and Main Avenue South
Monday, April 3rd through Sunday, April 9th.
The two west lanes on Main between 2nd and 3rd will be closed for project improvements while the east lanes will be open for traffic flow. Approved traffic control plans have been issued for all work and will be followed. The on-site inspector is Todd Freih at 206-999-1832.

Monday, April 3rd through Friday, April 7th, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Intermittent lane closures due to road construction for the 2nd and Main Capital Improvement Project. Harrington Avenue NE and Glenwood Avenue NE
Monday, April 3rd through Friday, September 29th (2017).
Full road closure on Harrington between Sunset Lane NE and Harrington Avenue NE as well as a full road closure on Harrington Avenue NE between NE 10th Street and Sunset Lane NE will be in place as part of the Sunset Lane Capital Improvement Project. S 14th Street
Monday, April 3rd through Sunday, April 9th. Road
Closure on South 14th Street between Smithers Avenue S through Davis Avenue S for utility construction. Open to local access only. Approved traffic control plans have been issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Patrick DeCaro, 425-207-6013.

116th Avenue SE
Monday, April 3rd through Friday, April 7th, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Single lane closures along with alternating traffic due grind and asphalt overlay of the roadway for the 116th Ave SE Sidewalk project. An approved traffic control plan has been issued and will be followed. Questions can be directed to Flora Lee at 425-430-7303 or Todd Freih at 206-999-1832.

Lake Washington Blvd N
Monday, April 3rd through Friday, April 7th, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Intermittent Lane closures at Lake Washington Blvd just north of Houser Way N/Gene Coulon Park due to utility installation and possible road restoration. Approved traffic control plans have been issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco, 425-282-2373.

S 43rd Street and Talbot Road S
Monday, April 3rd through Friday, April 7th, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Impacts to intersection due to hauling activity from the Valley Medical Center Improvements. Questions may be directed to Tom Main, 206-999-1833.
