Downtown Renton Library Closing for Renovations Beginning June 22 at 5:00 p.m.

The Renton Library (100 Mill Avenue South) will close for renovations on Sunday, June 22, at 5:00 p.m. The Renton Library will be undergoing a major remodel including structural renovation, greatly enhanced electrical and data access, improved interior design and fixtures, and much more while retaining its beautiful setting on the Cedar River.

No library services or returns will be available at the downtown Renton location after 5:00 p.m. on June 22. The Renton Temporary Library opens Wednesday, June 25, 11:00 a.m. and will be located at 64 Rainier Avenue, Suite #A. Holds, Choice Reads, DVDs, and some public PCs will be moved to the Renton Temporary Location. Hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
