Public Invited to Rededication of Fire District 40's Newly Remodeled Station 17

Fire Station 17 Re-Opening & Open House, June 22, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

RENTON: The public is invited to celebrate the re-opening of Fire District 40’s newly remodeled Fire Station 17 on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a brief presentation and dedication by local dignitaries and invited guests beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. Tours of the building, located at 14810 SE Petrovitsky Road, will be conducted until 3 p.m.

The newly remodeled Station 17 includes seismic upgrades, a new fire sprinkler system, a conference/training room, a dedicated amateur radio operators’ room, and improved livability and dorm rooms for firefighters.
