Renton Municipal Court Closed

Renton, WA: The National Weather Service has issued an ice-storm warning. Please do not travel unless it is necessary.

City crews worked through the night to remove as much snow and slush as possible. However, icy conditions continue to make roads very slick, and even more treacherous than yesterday, and drivers are cautioned to be very careful. If you have to drive, it's best to avoid big hills and try to find alternate routes

  • City of Renton Municipal Court is closed today.
  • Renton History Museum is closed today.
  • Renton Senior Activity Center will close at 4:00 p.m. instead of 5:00p.m. today. There will be no lunch program.
  • All gated parks will remain closed at this time. Crews will evaluate ice conditions in the parking lots and open them when safe.
  • Lower walk of the Cedar River Trail is closed between Bronson and Logan. The Cedar River Trail is also closed from I-405 to 131st.
  • City of Renton recreation classes are canceled when the Renton School District is closed and therefore are canceled today.
  • A cold weather shelter at the Harambee Church will remain open tonight, January 19, due to expected overnight low temperatures.
