RENTON, WA: To keep our community free of clutter and litter, candidates and anyone responsible for placing political campaign signs, are reminded to remove the signs from private property and public right-of-ways. Tuesday, November 22, is the deadline by which all campaign signs must be removed.

In 2011 the City of Renton established new penalties for those who do not remove political signs in a timely manner from public right-of-ways within the Renton city limits. All political campaign signs need to be removed within 14 days following the November General Election. Any such sign that is not removed by the deadline shall be subject to a monetary penalty of $100 per sign, up to a total of $10,000, and loss of the signs.
