Renton Community Gathers to Honor Seattle and Lakewood Officers and Give Thanks to our Local Police

Renton, WA— Representatives from the City of Renton including members of the Renton Police Officers’ Guild, and community members will come together on Monday, December 7, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to honor the recently fallen Seattle and Lakewood Police Officers at The Rock Wood Fire Pizza & Spirits and The Whistle Stop Ale House.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and give their support and offer donations to help the officers’ families, or to thank our local police officers for their service.  The Renton Police Officer's Guild will collect and deliver all donations and messages of support to the official memorial service on behalf of the entire Renton community.  Donations can also be made directly to the Lakewood Police Independent Guild.

The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits is located in The Landing at 830 N. 10th Street, Renton, WA 98055.  The Whistle Stop Ale House is located in downtown Renton at 809 S. 4th Street, Renton, WA 98057.
