City of Renton Advises Removal of Political Signs - deadline is November 13

Renton, WA: To keep our community free of clutter and litter, candidates and anyone responsible for placing political campaign signs, are reminded to remove the signs from private property and public right-of-ways. Friday, November 13, is the deadline by which all campaign signs must be removed.

As per Renton Municipal Code (4-4-100), all political campaign signs need to be removed within 10 days following an election. Any such sign that is not removed by the deadline shall be removed and disposed of by city crews.

Violations of this code are considered a misdemeanor and non-compliance may result in a fine of up to $1,000 per sign.
