Community Risk Reduction

  • Preschool Fire Safety Program:  Free curriculum is available for preschool teachers who would like to teach fire safety skills to their students. The program includes lesson plans, interactive activities, games, and a video. After completing the program, preschools can request a special Fire Department visit to their school, or a fire station tour.
  • Fire Stoppers :  This youth firesetting education and intervention program is designed to educate parents and children about fire safety and the dangers of fire.
  • Stations Tours and Firefighter Visits:  The Renton Fire & Emergency Services Department provides fire station tours and visits from firefighters to the communities we serve.
