Picnic Shelter Insurance Requirements 

All of our picnic shelters will be available for reservation online at www.cybersignup.org beginning at 12:01 a.m. on January 2. To browse for information, availability or reserve a shelter go to Cybersignup.org  and click "Book Facilities" or select the "Facilities" tab. From there you can search all of our facilities for information and availability. To search just for a shelter reservation, select "Online Shelter Reservation" as your search function.

To reserve online, you will need a Family PIN and Participant Barcode. If you already have an account with us, select "Forgot My Password" to have your PIN and Barcode sent by email. If you do not have an account yet, you can select "Request New Account" on Cyber Sign-Up or call the Renton Community Center at 425-430-6700.

Picnic shelter reservations are available on a first-paid, first-served basis for non-profit events. No phone-in reservations allowed. Shelters are reservable May 1 through September 30, including holidays. Groups must adhere to the picnic shelter rules and regulations as set forth by the City of Renton. Informational Picnic Packets are available to answer your questions. Requests for special events must make full disclosure (e.g., weddings, religious services, inflatables, catering, etc.).  Inflatables ar not allowed in any City of Renton Park. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather or violation of Park Rules and Regulations. A day is considered 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Groups may have one (1) reservation scheduled in a calendar year. Reservation cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance of the reservation date to be eligible for a refund. The amount refunded will be 50% of the reservation fee. Requests made less than 14 days before the rental date will result in the loss of the entire reservation fee. There is a $30 rescheduling fee. The maximum we can accommodate is 150 people. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

The following rates apply for Cedar River Trail, Liberty Park, Philip Arnold Park, Riverview Park, Teasdale Park, and Heritage Park.

8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - $90 for residents; $180 for non-residents
3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - $90 for residents; $180 for non-residents
All Day (groups under 75) - $140 for residents; $270 for non-residents

The following rates apply for  Coulon Beach South Shelters #1 and #2, Coulon Creekside Shelter.

8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - $100 for residents; $180 for non-residents
3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - $100 for residents; $180 for non-residents
All Day (groups under 75) - $140 for residents; $260 for non-residents
South Shelters #1 & #2 - $300 for residents; $600 for non-residents
