Neighborhood Mini-Grant

Neighborhood Mini-Grant (Up to $500)

The Neighborhood Mini-Grant is designed to improve a neighborhood’s quality of life, increase public safety, and any other small project that positively engages and reinvigorates the neighborhood. 

Grant Ideas

  • Rent a dumpster for a neighborhood clean up
  • Providing safety classes (Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), “Map Your Neighborhood”, First Aid or CPR classes)
  • Purchase landscaping material for a beautificaiton project
  • Install a neighborhood pocket library or small outdoor BBQ
  • Purchase paint for new curbside address labels

  Note:  Food products and/or alcohol are not eligible for funding.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the 2018 Neighborhood Mini-Grant, your neighborhood will need to have:

  • Registered as an "officially recognized" Renton neighborhood located within the City limits     
  • Have submitted an updated copy of your neighborhood bylaws
  • Have submitted an updated Neighborhood Program Application
  • Have submitted an updated boundary map of your neighborhood

To become registered as an "officially recognized" Renton neighborhood please fill out the following application and submit it to neighborhoodprogram@rentonwa.gov
