Cedar River Off-Leash Dog Park
The Cedar River Dog Park is Open!
The City of Renton and Renton's Unleashed Furry Friends (RUFF) opened Renton's first off-leash dog park on the NARCO property. Nearly four acres of level ground are surrounded by a rustic split rail fence (the material was generously donated by McLendon Hardware), and constructed by community volunteers. The park includes a separate area for small and shy dogs, and has quickly become a popular gathering area for dogs and their handlers. Cedar River Dog Park is a two year pilot project, with the NARCO property as an interim site. Join your dog loving neighbors and visit with a variety of dogs having fun being off-leash and free.
A grand opening celebration will be held at the Cedar River Dog Park on September 19, 2009, starting at 10:00 a.m.
