League Information

Summer Softball Information

  • There are two levels of play.
  • Games are played on Sundays at local parks in the afternoon and evening.
  • Doubleheaders will be played in the "Upper Rec" league with a 12 game regular season. Team fee for "Upper Rec" is $600 plus state sales tax.
  • Single game format is used in the "Lower Rec" league with an 8 game regular season. Team fee for "Lower Rec" is $400 plus state sales tax.
  • The top teams will advance to a league championship tournament.
  • Tournament winners will receive awards.
  • All leagues are sanctioned by the USA Softballl (USA).
  • The USA Softball Banned Bat List is enforced. For more information visit USA SOFTBALL
  • Minimum age is 18 years.

Softball League Classification- Summer

  • Co-Ed "Upper Rec": Players/teams with average skill levels with men batting strong side.
  • Co-Ed "Lower Rec": Players/teams with average to recreational skill levels with men batting strong side.

  • League fee represents total cost to participate. No additional roster or player fees.
  • Three seasons of adult softball are offered by the City of Renton Recreation Division: Spring, Summer and Fall.
