Heritage Park

In June of 2007 the City celebrated the opening of Heritage Park, which was named in honor of the area's past, present and future. (See the June 2007 article published in Renton's Historical Society & Museum Quarterly.) Located southeast of Renton Technical College in the Highlands, with play structures, climbing boulders, a picnic shelter, sports facilities, and paved and forested walking paths, the park provides the public with a thriving and beautiful park to enjoy.

  • Half court basketball
  • Rock climbing play area
  • Forested open space
  • 1/3 mile paved loop trail, 1/4 mile forested trail

Directions:

From I-405 North:

Take Exit 4 toward  WA-900 W/Bronson Way. Turn right onto Maple Valley Highway.  Travel about .2 mile and turn right at Sunset Boulevard N. Turn right at NE 3rd Street (about .8 mile). Continue on NE 4th Street for about .7 mile, turn right at Union Avenue NE.  Turn right at NE 2nd St.  Travel a short distance; Heritage Park is on your right.

From I-405 South:

Take Exit 4 for WA-900 W toward WA-169 S/Renton/Enumclaw.  Merge onto Sunset Boulevard NE. Travel about .3 mile and turn left at N. 3rd Street. Continue on NE 4th Street for about .7 mile, turn right at Union Avenue NE. Turn right at NE 2nd St. Travel a short distance; Heritage Park is on your right.
