Welcome to the Fire & Emergency Services website. It is our goal to provide outstanding services to the community and present information which will assist in preparing and protecting your family from unexpected emergencies.

These services are provided by skillfully trained and dedicated professionals to meet the ever-changing needs of the community. Renton Fire & Emergency Services consists of 145 uniformed firefighters and 16 civilian employees committed to protecting life, property and the environment. We serve a population of over 125,000 within 43.3 square miles, which includes the City of Renton and King County Fire Districts #25 and #40.

Renton Fire & Emergency Services (RF&ESD) Customer Service Survey
RF&ESD is evaluating our delivery of services. If you have ever used any of our services including; fire response, emergency medical response, business inspection, public education, disaster response/preparedness, or any other service, we invite you to take this opportunity to help us find better ways to serve you by completing a short survey. Your participation and input is greatly appreciated.
The Renton Fire & Emergency Services Department, in partnership with the Renton Community Foundation (501c3), has established a fund to receive tax deductible donations. This fund replaces the Memorial Aid Fund which the Department had used in the past for donation purposes. The Renton Fire & Emergency Services Fund supports many fire, emergency medical and preparedness services provided to the community.
There are several ways to contribute to the Renton Fire & Emergency Services Fund. Checks may be made payable to the Renton Community Foundation and sent to: Renton Fire & Emergency Services, 1055 S. Grady Way, 7th Floor, Renton, WA 98057. You may also make a secure online donation by selecting the “Renton Fire & Emergency Services Fund” from the drop down list on the Renton Community Foundation’s website.
Donors will receive a letter from the Renton Community Foundation for their tax records.
