Elected by the citizens of Renton every four years, the Mayor provides leadership for the City of Renton. In addition, he works closely with department administrators to direct the many functions of city government, presides over weekly City Council meetings and works with the Council members to develop ordinances and resolutions that protect the interests of Renton's citizens.
